I work in customer service everyday as a sales associate at a second hand clothing store, clothes mentor. And after reading this, i want to share a story of a time when i received the best customer service when i least expected it. I was at work wearing my glasses that were broken, and i had no plan or intention of getting them fixed…money, and a customer i was ringing up said she had extra money to spare for my new glasses. and not just that, but i would get to see a doctor thus a new prescription. She had no idea that i hadnt been able to see an eye doctor in 3 years, no idea that i had no money for new frames, and that my mom was born blind, and worsens my vision. She was a giver (of customer service) when she shouldve been a receiver, and i hope you see what i see :)
